An original watercolor painting completed in March of 2026. Shows an American Robin perched on a berry branch. Started playing around with the box shadow effect for the background with colors of my choice. Learned a lot about layering colors, robin’s back coat is particularly challenging i’ve learned. Not the best berry branch but overall a wonderful piece.
It is completed on a 5×7 inch 300gsm sheet of watercolor paper. The bird was sketched in pencil, painted with high quality watercolor paints, and then finished with paint pens and colored pencil. Available framed in a new or used picture frame, or shipped sleeved and protected for you to enjoy.
