I painted this based on a reference that I found on X of the viral American Woodcock in Central Park over the spring. He was pretty courageous to soak up the attention for so long 😂

There is a water splotch over the signature unfortunately and a few marks near the border but otherwise it’s a fine piece. The feet and the eye in particular I think came out pretty well.
